You are now a subscriber and will receive occasional posts from me at my outpost in the Fischer Kitchen in NYC. Mindful decisions for intentional eating contribute to long-term health and happiness. It sounds like a small thing - eating healthy - but one has to look a lot closer than one thinks to ensure that is getting done. Each person, however, will make their own decisions because eating of course is an intensely personal matter.
Why did you create this space?
I created this space simply to share what I’m doing in my kitchen, which I hope is fun and interesting. I believe in a healthy quality of life for as long as possible, rather than a slow and steady decline because I’m not paying attention to something critical.
In my view, one “something critical” is food, which I think gets even more important as you age. I fully understand there are so many resources on this topic that you might think there’s nothing left to be said.
But if we met in person, there would be a lot exchanged on this topic. So think about Fischer Kitchen as if we were having a chat and I told you what I was up to in the kitchen. Perhaps it is nothing more but a bit of conversation. But even that can help elevate our lives. I will share hits and misses, ideas inspired by travel, and recipes modified to cut down on the bad stuff.
I’ll be sharing:
News from our kitchen
Recipes modified to cut sugar
