Every product featured here is something I personally use and love in the Fischer Kitchen. They’re must-haves; I’m not sure how I’d have made anything without them. I’ve arranged them in order of most to least used.

Instant Pot
I love Instant Pots. I have two, an old and a new one. They cook fast and make great meals. For speed and efficiency, I consider them the real workhorses of a vegetable-centric diet.
Emile Henri Bread Pot
I can’t rave enough about this highly productive bread pot. We use it as often as possible to make homemade bread. We stick to Emile Henri’s basic recipe and usually find success. Sometimes, we mix it up by adding raisins or olives and surprise ourselves with a special loaf.
Flour matters. We’ve had different textures and tastes, experimenting with basic bread flour, all-purpose flour, and artisanal flour. Anyway, you can try it. Making bread is especially important because store-bought breads can have too many ingredients. If I can’t pronounce the ingredients, then I’m less inclined to eat it. When you make your own bread, you know for sure what’s in it. I encourage you to try bread making. With this bread pot, it takes no time at all.
KitchenAid Food Processor
I like to cut and chop, but sometimes, the job is too big to be done by hand. You need help. The KitchenAid food processor is a workhorse in our kitchen. It’s got a batch of blades, and I leave it to Phil to figure out what we need. The unit is super for pureeing soups and even preparing tuna (we add two cans of tuna, some carrots, celery, onions, mustard, avocado mayonnaise, and some paprika and pulse until mixed. We transfer that mix to a bowl and add a few cut grapes. Toast some bread, scoop mix onto a slice (homemade if you can!), and put on the other slice. It’s a quick way of making tuna!).
KitchenAid Mixer
The KitchenAid mixer is more than a kitchen staple; it’s a kitchen wonder that saves me an incredible amount of time and effort. It’s a lifesaver when making baked goods, which I find practically impossible to buy due to too much sugar, salt, and fat. Many baked goods are not as healthy as if you were to make them at home, where you control the ingredients. The KitchenAid mixer helps in every way. It’s a Fischer Kitchen must.
Cuisinart Coffee Maker
Phil likes coffee so we have this Cuisinart machine. It’s functional and gets the job done. I’m sure most coffeemakers will do, but we use this one and found it consistent and easy to use.
Cuisinart Countdown Toaster
When I wrote about kitchen appliances decades ago, I got a countdown toaster from Cuisinart. The color was white. The unit is very slim but can accommodate two standard slices. It fits on a small counter particularly well. I couldn’t find that toaster anymore, but this is the same brand and concept. I hope yours will last as long as mine - going on 27 years and I never want it to die!
Instant Pot Instant Magic Froth 9-in-1 Electric Milk Steamer and Frother
If Phil is having a cup of coffee, immediately I will say would you like froth in your coffee. This has become a running joke at home, with him agreeing to froth, whether he wants it or not. This product is inexpensive and a lot of fun. Plus, it makes fabulous froth. If you have no room on your counter for a coffee espresso machine with milk frother, this can be a good alternative. We like it.
William Sonoma Popcorn Popper
Saturday nights are movie nights, and I like popcorn. I looked around for a popcorn popper with an on/off switch because I thought that would be better than pulling the plug out of the wall to turn it off. I’m not sure that it matters, though, but this was my preference. I got this version at William Sonoma, and the best part is that it pops nearly every kernel. If I make too much, I put it in a small brown paper lunch bag for another time.
